The role requires a teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) or substantial experience, a degree in science, and GCSE English and Maths.

Qualifications

• Teacher Qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) and a Degree in Science or related field.
• GCSE English and Maths, strong subject knowledge and willingness to gain a teaching qualification.
• Ability to teach biology, chemistry, and related science subjects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching across courses, adapting to learner needs.
• Assess, verify, and monitor student work in line with standards and deadlines.
• Develop up-to-date schemes of work and learning materials.
• Guide and support students to achieve potential and maintain positive behaviour.
• Complete course administration and contribute to quality processes.
