Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a Lecturer – Health and Science at the Wycombe Campus. You will teach and support students across Health and Science programmes, helping them develop knowledge, skills and confidence for higher education or employment.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification or higher in Health or Science, with experience delivering biology, chemistry and physics up to level 2, and the ability to plan schemes of work and assess learners.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher in Health or Science.
• Experience delivering biology, chemistry and physics up to level 2.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules.
• Carry out practical experiments linked to the curriculum to support learning.
• Plan and deliver learning programmes for diverse groups in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Support students' academic and personal development, overcoming barriers to learning.
• Bring vocational/industry knowledge to enhance teaching and keep programmes current.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and interventions.
• Contribute to curriculum development and uphold high standards of teaching and learner experience.
