Job summary

Education First Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lead Practitioner of Science for a permanent role at a Peckham secondary school, starting in January. You will lead high-quality science lessons and model outstanding teaching across the department.

You will coach and mentor colleagues, contribute to curriculum planning and assessment, monitor pupil progress, and help raise achievement in Science. Collaboration with senior leaders will be essential, with the aim of consistently improving

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and secondary science teaching experience.
• Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes in science.
• Experience coaching and developing other teachers.
• Strong curriculum planning and assessment knowledge.
