Job summary

Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre in Reading is seeking a Technician for our Science Department, with priority given to Physics and/or Chemistry specialists.

You will assist in the lab, prepare lessons and experiments, ensure all apparatus and chemicals are stored safely, and uphold health and safety standards in a busy school environment.

We offer training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within the GLF Schools community.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school science lab.
• Able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the science lab with equipment and materials.
• Prepare for lessons and experiments.
