Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related subject.
• Passion for supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Patient, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Suitable for aspiring teachers looking to gain school-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group and one-to-one science interventions.
• Support students who require additional help understanding key scientific concepts.
• Assist teachers in creating and adapting learning resources.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Encourage engagement, participation and confidence during lessons.
• Support students preparing for assessments and GCSE examinations.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
