Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated Science Teacher for a successful secondary school in North Tyneside, near Newcastle upon Tyne. You will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3-4, support student progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The role is long-term with potential for a permanent contract. Qualified teachers with experience in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics are encouraged to apply, and Protocol Education will provide dedicated consultant support

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Science or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and teach engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage curiosity and a passion for Science.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
