Job summary

Carlton le Willows Academy is seeking a HLTA to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis until August 2027. You will complement teachers' delivery, assist in planning cycles, prepare resources and supervise classes during short-term absences, aiming to raise standards for all learners.

You will provide support across the Enhanced Provision Unit with a science specialism, contribute to pupil welfare, inclusion, and academy policies, and work closely with staff to develop learners’

Qualifications

• HLTA with enhanced provision experience.
• Specialism in Science.
• Ability to plan, monitor and assess pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and support planning cycles.
• Prepare and manage resources for lessons.
• Supervise classes during short-term absences.
• Support pupil welfare and contribute to inclusive practice.
