Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a strong Secondary Science Teacher to join a large Newport school on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The role requires delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 while supporting learners of mixed abilities and managing challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate has QTS or equivalent, and experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and General Science, with a resilient, patient approach. Excellent CPD and career progression opportunities are offered.

The successful candidate will primarily be working with lower ability classes and pupils who can present challenging behaviour, so strong behaviour management skills are essential for success in this role.
