The Schools People is a provider of HR & Employment Law Consultancy and DPO Services to Schools, Academies, and Multi Academy Trusts. Through our parent company Schools Advisory Service, we also support their clients with advice on Occupational Health matters. This year, we are launching the Doctor HR service to provide added value.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Schools People Senior Business Partner in HR & Employment Law, with knowledge of GDPR and management of Occupational Health matters in education being advantageous. The role is home-based (we set you up), but travel across the NW and more widely is required to support clients on-site. The Senior Business Partner will deliver HR and Employment Law consultancy to clients, covering a broad range of education HR and employment law issues. Contributions to our DPO service or the Doctor HR service would be welcomed.

Qualifications

• Strong HR and Employment Law knowledge in the education sector
• Experience of employee relations casework
• Experience working with trade unions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred or willingness to pursue CPD
