Company Description

The Schools People is a provider of HR & Employment Law Consultancy and DPO Services to Schools, Academies, and Multi Academy Trusts. Through our parent company Schools Advisory Service, we also support clients with advice on Occupational Health matters and are launching the Doctor HR service to provide added value.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Schools People Senior Business Partner in HR & Employment Law, with knowledge of GDPR and Occupational Health in education being advantageous. The role is home-based, but travel across the NW and wider regions is required to support clients on-site. The Senior Business Partner will deliver HR and Employment Law consultancy to clients, covering education-specific HR and employment law issues. Contributions to our DPO service or the Doctor HR service are also welcome.

• Strong HR and Employment Law knowledge in the education sector
• Experience with employee relations casework
• Experience working with trade unions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Experience working in the education sector
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) preferred or willingness to pursue CPD
• Knowledge or experience of GDPR/DPO services or advising on Occupational Health questions is advantageous
