The Schools People is a provider of HR & Employment Law Consultancy and DPO Services to Schools, Academies, and Multi Academy Trusts. We also support clients with Occupational Health advice and are launching the Doctor HR service this year.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Schools People Senior Business Partner in HR & Employment Law, with knowledge of GDPR and Occupational Health matters being advantageous. The role is home-based with travel across the NW and beyond to support clients onsite. The Senior Business Partner will deliver HR and Employment Law consultancy, covering education HR and employment law issues. Contributions to our DPO or Doctor HR services are welcome.

• Strong HR and Employment Law knowledge in the education sector
• Experience in employee relations casework
• Experience working with trade unions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Experience working in education
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) preferred or willingness to pursue CPD
• Knowledge or experience of GDPR/DPO services or Occupational Health advice is advantageous
