Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in Cambridge seeks a Site Officer to maintain school sites, ensuring security, safety and smooth daily operations. You will work with the Head of Operations to manage opening/closing, alarm systems and building access.

The role requires practical site management experience, reliability and strong communication, with a proactive approach to energy management and cost-effective maintenance across the site.

Responsibilities

• To liaise closely with the Head of Operations to undertake daily tasks as required.
• Undertaking processes for opening and closing schools, turning off and setting alarms, unlocking and locking of the schools, gates and buildings including any evening use as required.
• Responding to activations of the school alarm, liaising with police and alarm company.
• Ensuring that the work of the site team maximises the security of the site, with cost-effective maintenance and effective energy management, contributing to site maintenance as necessary.
• Support the delivery of daily site team operations.
