E-ACT Bristol Academy South in Bristol is seeking a Site Officer to provide essential operational support, ensuring the academy remains safe, welcoming and well maintained for pupils, staff and the wider community.

You’ll oversee site security, lighting and heating, cleaning, general maintenance, plant and equipment, porterage and general handyperson duties, helping to create a positive learning and working environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Relevant maintenance/trade qualification or willingness to work towards.
• IOSH or recognised Health & Safety qualification.
• Experience of caretaking and cleaning duties.
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsabilités

• Complete statutory and routine testing to manufacturers’ standards with up-to-date records.
• Maintain high security across academy premises and liaise with security services.
• Install or repair minor jobs (plumbing, joinery, painting, plastering, electrical).
• Identify and report repairs or maintenance requiring action.
