Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property are seeking a Premises Assistant to join our Bristol Schools project team. You will help maintain safe, compliant, and well-managed sites while supporting day-to-day operations and delivering quality service across school sites.

You will work outdoors in all weather, support planned and reactive maintenance, manage stock and materials, and assist with on-call activities to meet contractual obligations and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering facilities management in a customer-focused environment.
• Good general maintenance and repair skills across site tasks.
• Experience with building maintenance systems and site operations.
• Well organized, flexible, able to manage varied workload.
• Physically capable of manual tasks; outdoor work in all weather.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and COSHH.
• IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to work towards it.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality services across school sites.
• Support maintenance per plan and SLAs; assist KPIs.
• Work with Lead Engineers to complete tasks on time.
• On-call rota participation and cover for absences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Oversee stock and materials to meet budgets and availability.
• Help ensure labour and materials meet contractual obligations.
