Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Premises Assistant to support school site operations in Bristol. The role focuses on delivering high-quality facilities management across multiple sites, maintaining safety standards, and supporting planned and reactive maintenance in line with the contract and KPIs.

You will work with Lead Engineers and participate in on-call duties to ensure timely task completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, be well organized with a flexible

Qualifications

• Experience delivering facilities management in customer-focused environments.
• Maintenance and repair skills across a range of site tasks.
• Experience using building maintenance systems.
• Well organized and able to manage a varied workload.
• Physically capable of manual tasks and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality services across school sites.
• Support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance in line with the contract PPM plan, SLAs, KPIs, and management direction.
• Work closely with Lead Engineers to ensure reactive and planned maintenance tasks are completed on time.
• Take part in the on-call rota and provide cover for absences when required.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and health and safety requirements, including safe systems of work.
• Oversee stock and materials to maintain budgets while ensuring parts are available to support service delivery.
• Help ensure the site has the labour and materials needed to meet contractual obligations.
