Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Premises Assistant to join our Bristol Schools project team. You will help maintain safe, compliant sites and support smooth day-to-day operations across multiple school sites.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality services, supporting planned and reactive maintenance, and working with Lead Engineers. There is an on-call rota, and you must ensure H&S and COSHH compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering facilities management services in a customer-focused environment.
• Good general maintenance and repair skills across a range of site tasks.
• Experience using building maintenance systems and supporting day-to-day site operations.
• Well organised, flexible, and able to manage a varied workload.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual and demanding tasks safely.
• Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and COSHH requirements.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality services across school sites.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance per the contract plan and SLAs.
• Work with Lead Engineers to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Take part in the on-call rota and provide cover for absences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and COSHH requirements.
• Oversee stock and materials to meet budgets and support service delivery.
• Help ensure the site has labour and materials to meet contractual obligations.
