Job summary

Worksop Priory CofE Academy in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day management, security and upkeep of the school premises. You'll ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors and oversee maintenance and contractor works.

We are looking for a practical, proactive individual with strongHealth and safety knowledge, good IT record-keeping, and the ability to work independently as well as with our Trust team,

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work on own initiative.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Able to work collaboratively within a school and Trust.
• Experience in managing contractors and keeping records using IT systems.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Willing to participate in safeguarding training and induction.
• Strong community links and partnerships within SNMAT.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management, security and upkeep of school premises.
• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard.
• Oversee contractors and manage external works.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across the site.
• Monitor building systems and carry out site checks.
• Maintain school grounds and facilities.
• Act as key holder and respond to site emergencies when needed.
