The role offers flexible hours, with split or straight-through patterns, and combines hands-on maintenance, contractor liaison, health and safety compliance, and support for school events to help the academy thrive.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school site is safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out routine repairs and preventative maintenance across buildings and grounds.
• Lead and coordinate cleaning provision to high standards.
• Monitor site budgets and contribute to development and improvement plans.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Support compliance with health and safety legislation and inspections.
• Respond promptly to site-related issues and emergencies.
• Support school lettings, events, and wider school life.
