The role offers flexible hours, with split or straight-through patterns, and combines hands-on maintenance, contractor liaison, health and safety compliance, and support for school events to help the academy thrive.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day to day management of the school site, helping to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and well maintained environment for all.

This hands on role offers great variety and autonomy. From carrying out maintenance tasks and overseeing contractors to managing health and safety compliance and supporting school events, no two days are the same. You will be a key member of the school team, taking pride in maintaining a site that reflects our high standards and ambitions for every child.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the school site is safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out routine repairs and preventative maintenance across the buildings and grounds.
• Lead and coordinate cleaning provision, maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness.
• Monitor site budgets and contribute to future development and improvement plans.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and effectively.
• Support compliance with health and safety legislation, statutory inspections, and site security procedures.
• Respond promptly to site related issues and emergencies.
• Support school lettings, events, and the wider life of the school community.
