Exclusive Education Ltd is seeking a School Site Manager/Caretaker for secondary schools in the Leigh and Wigan area. The role is an immediate start and requires ensuring the school environment is secure, safe and well maintained to support learning.

You will be responsible for opening and closing the site, supervising caretaking staff, and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The position offers an efficient, supportive team and a fast clearance process.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or site management preferred.
• Able to open and close the school daily.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Care for the upkeep of the school and its grounds.
• Supervise assistant caretakers and gardeners.
• Ensure duties are carried out to a high standard.
• Follow all school policies and procedures.
• Open and close the school; perform general caretaker duties (no cleaning).
