Exclusive Education Ltd is seeking a School Site Manager/Caretaker for secondary schools in the Leigh and Wigan area. The role is an immediate start and requires ensuring the school environment is secure, safe and well maintained to support learning.

You will be responsible for opening and closing the site, supervising caretaking staff, and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The position offers an efficient, supportive team and a fast clearance process.

Competenze

• Experience in caretaking or site management preferred.
• Able to open and close the school daily.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Location: Leigh and Wigan Secondary Schools

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a School Caretaker/ Site Manager for a secondary school in the Leigh and Wigan area. It is immediate start and must demonstrate a high standard of efficiency.

The role will include ensuring that the school environment is secure, safe and healthy, supports learning and teaching, kept clean and maintained and be aware of schools policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have previous caretaking experience and must be available to cover opening and closing the school and complete general care taker duties - no cleaning involved.

• Responsibility for the care and upkeep of the school and its grounds


• Supervise assistant caretakers and gardeners


• Ensure the duties are carried out to a high standard


• Be compliant to the schools policies and procedures


• Have an Enhanced DBS - which we can process if needed
