Job summary

Wayland Academy, part of Inspiration Trust, is seeking a proactive Site Manager in Watton to oversee daily maintenance, security, and safety of the school site. You will manage budgets, coordinate contractors, lead a small team, and ensure facilities support students and staff effectively.

The role welcomes flexible working discussions and may accommodate part-time hours; a full driving licence is required and the site is in Norfolk. An onboarding check process will be completed prior to start.

Qualifications

• Premises maintenance and security experience, ideally in a school.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Experience leading teams, budgeting and coordinating work programmes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and premises services.
• Manage security, alarms, CCTV and key holder duties.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance and improvements.
• Coordinate contractors and monitor budgets and timelines.
• Lead the site team and support projects for the academy.
