Job summary

The Wensum Trust is seeking a dedicated site manager / caretaker to maintain the school environment for pupils aged 4-7, ensuring safe, clean and welcoming facilities.

You will work with staff to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, carry out general maintenance, health and safety tasks, routine testing, hazard removal and ad-hoc duties, and help uphold safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school setting.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to schools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure school buildings and grounds to a safe standard.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate routine testing, cleaning and cleaning-related tasks.
• Perform ad-hoc maintenance duties as required by staff and leadership.
