Job summary

Luton Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Site Assistant to support the Site Agent and Operational Lead in keeping our school premises safe and well maintained. You will play a hands-on role across cleaning, maintenance, and hygiene with a focus on safeguarding pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic maintenance and cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Agent and Operational Lead in maintaining a clean, secure, and safe environment across the school premises for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Undertake routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Respond to immediate hygiene or safety issues.
