Job summary

TLTP Education seeks a reliable Caretaker for a Birmingham primary school to start immediately on a temporary-to-permanent contract.

You will be responsible for day-to-day site maintenance, safety and security, opening/closing the premises, and liaising with contractors to keep the site well presented for pupils and staff.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with the potential to secure a permanent position when the initial contract ends in July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school site
• Ensure safety and security of buildings and grounds
• Open/close the school site and manage site security
• Liaise with contractors and report issues needing further attention
• Move furniture and equipment as required
• Support health and safety procedures and inspections
