Market Field School in Colchester, part of The Sigma Trust, is seeking a Receptionist to provide a welcoming front-desk service and admin support across the school.

The role is part-time (7 hours 30 minutes per week) across 39 weeks per year (term time, plus non-pupil days). The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisation, safeguarding commitment, and a professional approach to communication with parents, students, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient reception service for the school and act as first point of contact for parents, students, staff and visitors.
• Receive and deal with enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders via phone and in person.
• Take accurate messages and pass on communications.
• Greet visitors and accompany them to destinations within the school.
