Job summary

Kisimul School is seeking a Property Maintenance Supervisor in Haverhill to provide hands-on maintenance, repairs and coordination with external contractors. The role supports building and grounds upkeep, ensuring safety compliance and timely reactive repairs as the school opens in January 2027.

The PMS will manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work with the Property Team and School Head Teacher to deliver high standards and minimal disruption to pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience of organising and supervising the work of external contractors.
• Experience with property audits, compliance systems and servicing regimes.

Responsibilities

• Reactive Repair Service: assess breakdowns, perform first-fix, isolate and arrange follow-up work.
• Preventative Planned Maintenance: schedule and execute required PM tasks.
• Life Cycle CAPEX Works: assist in identifying works for CAPEX programme.
• External Contractors: supervise contractors to ensure safety of pupils and staff.
• Record and report faults/hazards and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with School Head Teacher to minimise disruption and ensure safety.
