Job summary

Reading Borough Council is seeking a proactive Site Manager for our school campuses to ensure infants and juniors are maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition and to oversee everyday site tasks.

You will coordinate health and safety compliance across the site, work with governors, staff and pupils, and help manage small building projects within the school environment. The role requires strong organisation and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and dynamic
• Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
• Experience of managing small building projects and day-to-day building maintenance
• Experience of working in a school environment is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with pupils and staff

Responsibilities

• Manage school site/s and grounds (Infants and Juniors) to keep them safe, clean and secure
• Coordinate health and safety across the site in line with regulations
