Job summary

Vale of Evesham School in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our premises team and maintain a safe, well-presented environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You will oversee security, routine maintenance, contractor works, and compliance checks, while coordinating the on-site team and minibus fleet.

This permanent role is 37 hours per week, all year, with 26 days annual leave (rising to 31 after five years).

Qualifications

• Must have premises management experience.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Ability to manage a small team and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring site security and compliance.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs.
• Managing contractors and monitoring site works.
• Completing statutory health, fire safety, asbestos and legionella compliance checks.
• Overseeing and training the team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintaining site records and compliance documentation.
• Inspecting buildings and outdoor areas for safety and upkeep.
• Supporting site improvement projects throughout the year.
• Managing the minibus fleet checks, MOTs and repairs as needed.
