Qualifications

• Applicants should have previous experience in premises management, facilities coordination, site supervision or building maintenance.
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures, contractor management and routine maintenance planning is desirable.
• Experience working within a school or other public-sector environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities, oversee site staff and contractors, and ensure buildings and grounds are safe, functional and presentable.
• Arrange routine inspections, organise repairs and monitor maintenance schedules; respond to facilities-related issues.
• Oversee contractors on site and ensure work meets required standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain records of building inspections, servicing, risk assessments and equipment checks; manage expenditures.
• Support school events preparation and ensure classrooms and spaces are ready for use.
• Identify maintenance priorities with school leaders and plan improvement projects.
