Job summary

Bolshaw Primary School is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to oversee maintenance and upkeep of the school premises. The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining a large site, knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding, and the ability to perform minor repairs while ensuring the security of the site.

The role includes being a key holder, opening/closing duties, and out-of-hours attendance when required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and cleaning a large site.
• Knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding requirements.
• Ability to open/close the premises and be on-call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school premises to a good standard and oversee upkeep.
• Act as key holder and ensure security of the site.
• Assist the School Business Manager with premises for events and liaising with contractors.
