Bolshaw Primary School is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to oversee maintenance and upkeep of the school premises. The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining a large site, knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding, and the ability to perform minor repairs while ensuring the security of the site.
The role includes being a key holder, opening/closing duties, and out-of-hours attendance when required.

The successfulcandidate will have the appropriate skills and experience to undertake minorrepairs, maintain the fabric of the school building to a good standard andensure the security and safety of the site.
The Caretaker role includes the responsibility ofbeing a key holder, ensuring the school environment is secure and sharingresponsibility for the opening and closing of the premises. It will alsorequire the attendance out of hours when necessary in the event of an alarmcall.
The Caretaker will assist the School BusinessManager in the management of school leasing, and will prepare the premises forout of school activities, such as holiday clubs, and liaising with otherexternal contractors.
The Caretaker will be part of the school’s Health& Safety Team, and will report to the School Business Manager on all suchmatters.
