Job summary

Parkway is seeking a committed Premises/Site Assistant to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors. You will work closely with the Premises Manager to ensure the site is well-maintained and fit for purpose, supporting day-to-day operations and events.

The role suits a proactive, practical individual who can build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff, and contribute to a supportive school community.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the security and safeguarding of the school site.
• Being a key holder of the school.
• Supporting the maintenance, cleanliness and presentation of buildings and grounds.
• Carrying out minor repairs and basic DIY tasks.
• Assisting with health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations and recording.
• Supporting the setting up of rooms and facilities for school events and activities.
• Monitoring site issues and reporting maintenance requirements.
• Helping to ensure the school remains a safe, welcoming environment for all users.
