Job summary

The Charter Schools Educational Trust is seeking a driven Premises Manager to lead site operations across the school from March 2026. You will oversee health and safety, maintenance, and security, inspiring the premises team and coordinating with contractors and senior leaders to maintain a safe, efficient campus.

Based in London, the role focuses on compliant, well-maintained buildings and grounds, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety law and Trust compliance systems.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and respond to emergencies.
• Data-entry and digital log management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take operational responsibility for the school site, ensuring health and safety compliance across premises.
• Lead premises staff and supervise contractors and external partners.
• Work with the Headteacher and Business Manager to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable environment.
• Implement estates policies and compliance systems at school level and report to senior leadership.
