Job summary

Hill View School in Martock is seeking a dedicated Premises Manager to maintain the school's buildings and grounds to high standards. The role involves coordinating maintenance contractors, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting pupils and staff in a busy school environment.

You will manage routine checks, work with the Trust Facilities Manager, and respond to out-of-hours alarms. The post is full-time (37 hours), permanent, with a salary of £23,967 per year and a DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school's premises to high standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, grounds, and cleaning contractors to ensure compliance and timely work.
• Undertake basic repairs and supervise routine checks on building and grounds (daily to 5 yearly).
• Liaise with Trust Facilities Manager and senior staff to support school operations.
• Assist with ordering, invoicing, and liaison with contractors for lettings and other works.
• Act as a responsible key holder and respond to alarms out-of-hours.
• Maintain the security of the school and grounds.
