Job summary

William Barcroft Junior School in Cleethorpes is hiring a Premises Cleaner to join our site team. You will help create a safe, hygienic learning environment by cleaning floors, windows and work surfaces to high standards, both independently and as part of a team.

The role is permanent, 25 hours per week during term time plus 5 days (39 weeks a year) with a pro rata salary of £14,737. Closing date 25 September 2026, start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Reliable, professional, flexible and approachable at all times.
• Able to work both in a team and independently.
• Careful with attention to detail; leaves rooms spotless.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, windows and surfaces to the required standard.
• Replenish supplies and follow health and safety rules.
• Perform routine equipment checks and waste removal.
• Monitor pupil conduct and assist with pupil safety.
