Job summary

Suffield Park Infant and Nursery School in Cromer is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join our team. The role requires cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and other areas to a high standard, with duties including vacuuming, dusting and waste disposal.

Flexible to work Mon-Fri 15:15-17:30 during term time plus 4 weeks, with training provided. Salary is Scale A £13.27 per hour, with a fixed contract initially until 31 August 2027.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience desirable, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and other areas to a high standard.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and dust surfaces.
• Empty bins and manage waste.
• Clean and sanitise toilets and washrooms.
• Replenish cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues to Site Manager.
• Follow health and safety procedures including COSHH.
• Ensure security of the premises after cleaning duties.
