Job summary

Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Addlestone invites applications for a part-time Caretaker role. Working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am–11am, with some variation in timings, you will help keep the premises safe, clean and secure for pupils and staff.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute across site maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical tasks, and liaison with contractors, under the Headteacher and Governors. Training and support are provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Part-time role, 20 hours per week, with some variation in start times.
• Experience in basic maintenance or facilities is desirable.
• Willingness to contribute to all areas of busy school life; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Security of the school site and key holding.
• DIY repairs and routine maintenance.
• Liaising with and monitoring quality of work of contractors.
• Assisting with Health and Safety procedures.
