School Payroll Officer¦Hove¦£25,000 - £29,000 per annum¦PermanentThis school is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to take ownership of the school's payroll processes, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time. This role is essential in supporting the finance and HR teams, maintaining compliance with payroll regulations, and delivering an efficient and professional service.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and process the school's payroll with precision and efficiency.
  • Address payroll queries, providing clear and timely support to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and other statutory obligations.
  • Maintain detailed payroll records and prepare necessary reports.
  • Process salary calculations, deductions, overtime, and adjustments as required.
  • Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and integrity of payroll data.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll management or administration within a school or education setting.
