Payroll Officer
37.5 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
Salary range: £25,837 - £28,356 pa (25 days holiday plus statutory public holidays paid per year)

Are you adept at using payroll and information management systems to ensure accurate monthly salary payments, while demonstrating empathy and patience with staff who rely on your guidance?
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and approachable individual to join our school's HR Payroll team. Ideally, applicants will have previous payroll experience, preferably including pensions, and a desire to support our valued staff working with children and young people with complex needs. Our strategic goal is to bring payroll in-house, so a willingness to upskill through supported training is essential.
Our students are aged 5-19 with moderate to severe and complex social communication and learning disabilities. Every staff member contributes positively to our students' lives. Compassion, patience, and empathy are vital, and successful candidates will complete Team Teach positive behaviour support training during induction.
Office-based hours during term time are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break. Some flexibility during school holidays is possible.
Own transport is desirable due to the rural location, but accessible public transport options are available nearby.
