Qualifications

  • Strong IT skills, particularly HR Systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Payroll administration experience with knowledge of payroll calculations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with strong experience in payroll processing.

  • Prepare an accurate monthly payroll export for our payroll provider.
  • Conduct a complete check of the payroll data and resolve any issues.
  • Assist with ongoing administration of benefit schemes and pension assessments.

Job description

Payroll and Benefits Officer

Location: Home based with monthly travel to the London office.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £27,500 plus benefits

Due to company growth, we have a new opportunity to join Ingeus’ Payroll and Benefits team.

The Payroll & Benefits Officer will be a key member of the busy Payroll team based remotely. The team provides payroll services for the 4 UK Ingeus businesses and supports the wider HR team with the management of payroll, benefits and pension queries.

Responsibilities of the Payroll and Benefits Officer will include:

Payroll

  • Working in conjunction with the Payroll & Benefits Manager and Assistant Payroll & Benefits Manager and the wider HRSS team to prepare an accurate monthly payroll export for our payroll provider
  • Liaising with the 3rd party payroll provider in relation to the monthly input
  • Conducting a complete check of the payroll data and resolving any issues
  • Liaising with Managers to resolve any discrepancies in payroll data
  • Assisting in Payroll End of Year & P11d processing

Benefits & Pension

  • Assisting with the ongoing administration of Ingeus different benefit schemes
  • Assisting with the ongoing administration of the Ingeus pension schemes and Auto Enrolment assessments

Reporting

  • Assisting with the preparation & coordination of all calendar driven regular reporting, (for example, Finance reports)
  • Creating and delivering all monthly reporting requirements to 3rd party providers

To be the Payroll and Benefits officer you will have:

  • Strong IT Skills, particularly HR Systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Payroll administration experience with knowledge of payroll calculations and statutory calculations
  • Previous experience in a similar role with strong experience in processing payroll and Pensions Auto Enrolment administration and process
  • Experience of ADP iHCM/NGUX payroll system is advantageous.
