We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic School Nurse Assistant to join our busy Solihull School Nursing Team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Solihull School Nursing Service, including managing an online health needs assessment tool for school-aged children. You will also play a key role in raising awareness of public health messages at both local and national levels, and in promoting the profile of the School Nursing Service. Additionally, you will be involved in delivering the National Child Measurement Programme within primary school settings.
Ideal candidates will be flexible, adaptable, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, with experience using electronic health record systems. You should be capable of working both as part of a team and independently, with experience working with children, young people, and families.

The post holder will actively contribute to the School Nursing Team, working collaboratively to promote positive outcomes for children and young people. Your main duties will include supporting the team with administrative and clerical tasks, working with schools to ensure the delivery of the Department of Health’s National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP).
