Job summary

St Mary's School Ascot invites applications for a female, qualified and registered nurse to join the Health Centre team on a part-time, term-time basis. You will work to support medical needs of pupils, and join a team of five nurses and two healthcare assistants to provide cover.

The post requires at least good interpersonal skills, a sense of humor and a proactive approach. Shifts are Friday 3.45pm-10.00pm and Sunday 8.00pm-8.00am (Monday). Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered nurse with right to work in the UK.
• Experience with young people in schools or paediatric settings is preferred.
• Able to work in a team and flexible to meet health needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities

SCHOOL NURSE

PART-TIME TERM TIME ONLY

£16,140 per annum

We are looking to appoint a female (Occupational Requirement), qualified and registered nurse who is enthusiastic and proactive. They must have a good sense of humor, sound common sense and a genuine interest in and a liking for young people. They should also have highly developed interpersonal skills and ideally, experience with young people in schools or other paediatric settings. They will work as part of a team of five nurses, a part-time Health Centre Administrator and two part-time Healthcare Assistants, providing continuous ongoing cover for the Health Centre during term time.

The successful candidate will be required to work the following shifts: Friday from 3.45pm-10.00pm and Sunday 8.00pm-8.00am (Monday).
