Nurse Seekers is assisting a prestigious Kensington prep school to recruit a Registered Nurse for a School Nurse role based in Kensington, London. The position offers 30 or 40 hours per week and is term-time only, delivering a stable schedule within a welcoming educational setting.

Responsibilities include planning nursing care for pupils with health conditions, health assessments when pupils are unwell, administering prescribed medications, and coordinating with staff, parents, and healthcare

Qualifications

• NMC PIN is required.
• Passion for providing the best possible care.
• School Nurse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work term-time schedule and 30/40 hour week is preferred.

Responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Planning nursing care for some children with health conditions
• Undertaking health assessments of pupils who become unwell
• Administering prescribed medications and record all information in accordance with NMC practices.
• Liaising with fellow professionals, educational staff and parents/carers, with the aim of providing a high level of service and striving to continually improve and evaluate the quality of the service.
