Barfield Prep School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to drive the school minibus five mornings a week during term time, starting September 2026. The role runs from 6.45am to 8.45am and requires a responsible approach to pupil safety and road use.

Safeguarding is emphasised, and the successful candidate will be committed to supporting young people in a caring school environment.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and clean driving history.
• Commitment to safeguarding of pupils and flexible morning schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive the minibus every morning five mornings a week from 6.45am to 8.45am.
• Ensure the safety of pupils, other road users and the public at all times.
• Assist with pupil safety and behaviour during transport when required.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic hard-working, confident individual to join our team. Someone who values our caring family atmosphere, to drive the minibus each morning in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of the pupils, other road users and members of the public and yourself at all times.
Working part time, five mornings from 6.45am until 8.45am starting September 2026 during Term Time.
