Job summary

Barfield Prep School in Surrey is seeking a part-time Minibus Driver to transport pupils to and from school and on local trips. The role is on-site and requires careful adherence to routes, schedules and safeguarding guidelines.

You will perform basic vehicle safety checks, keep journeys logs, maintain a clean vehicle, and communicate clearly with staff, parents and carers to ensure safe, smooth journeys for children aged 2 to 11.

Qualifications

• Valid minibus license and a clean driving record.
• Strong road safety knowledge and driving practice.
• Excellent communication with children and parents.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow school procedures.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks and training.
• Ability to complete basic journey logs.
• Physical ability to assist pupils boarding/disembarking.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils safely to and from school, local trips and activities.
