Job summary

Cranford Park Academy is seeking a School Meals Supervisory Assistant for the school lunchtime period. The role is permanent and part-time, 6.25 hours per week, during term time (38 weeks per annum).

The successful candidate should be caring, patient, self-motivated and able to work from their own initiative, taking direction from SLT and collaborating with other SMSAs. Good communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school lunch environment or similar preferred.
• Applications welcome from candidates with no SMSA experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction from SLT.

Responsibilities

• Support lunchtime supervisors during service.
• Work with SLT to implement lunchtime routines.
• Ensure pupil wellbeing and safety during lunch hours.

School Meals Supervisory Assistant

Salary (actual): £4,088 - £4,145

Grade: 1c

Hours: 6.25 hours per week

Work Pattern: term time only – 38 weeks per annum

Contract: Permanent

We are looking to appoint a School Meal Supervisory Assistant.

The successful candidate will ideally have some experience of working in this role or similar, but we would also welcome applications from candidates who have not had experience in this role.

The ideal candidates will be caring, patient, self‑motivated and be able to work from their own initiative. They will need to take direction from the SLT members responsible for the lunchtime supervisors and work closely alongside the other SMSAs. They will be a team player with excellent communication skills.
