Job summary

Bolton St Catherine’s Academy is seeking a dedicated School Meals Supervisory Assistant to support pupils during lunchtime at our Bolton site. The role is part-time, 12.5 hours per week, term time only, with a permanent contract.

The post involves ensuring safety, welfare and orderly conduct during lunch, while providing a positive dining experience for pupils. We offer ongoing CPD opportunities, career progression, wellbeing support and a commitment to inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

To ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break period. This includes all children on the school premises except those engaged in activities supervised by a teacher. To ensure a pleasant, relaxed, safe but efficient lunch experience for pupils.
