Job summary

Impact Food Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Catering Assistant (Driver) to support delivery between the main school kitchen and a nearby site.

The role runs Monday to Friday with shifts from 10.30am to 1.45pm (16 hours 15 minutes per week) across 38 weeks per year, term-time plus inset days. A full, clean UK driving licence is required to operate an IFG company vehicle. A free meal is provided during your shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or retail is helpful, but not essential.
• Must have a full, clean manual UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Pack meals and supplies into an IFG van.
• Drive to a local school site.
• Unload, set up, and serve food to students and staff.
• Return to the main kitchen site after service.
• Support the catering team to deliver a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist with basic food preparation and snack service.
• Operate the till and provide counter service.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy.
