Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support multiple school sites in the Wallsend area. You’ll work 10.30am–1.30pm, 15 hours per week during term-time plus inset days, across a small portfolio of schools with travel between sites paid.

You’ll join a friendly catering team, handling food prep, counter service, and till operation, while keeping areas clean and safe. A DBS check is required for safeguarding.

About the role

Job Title: Mobile Catering Assistant

Location: Covering schools in the Wallsend Area

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 10.30am-1.30pm (15hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £8,007.30 per #salaryper##

(Milege paid at £0.55per mile) You will need access to your owntransport.

What Will I Be Doing?

This is a Catering Assistant role working across a small portfolio of schools. You won’t be based at just one school—you’ll be supporting multiple sites. Travel between schools will be paid, and you’ll always be advised in advance which sites you’ll be covering.

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all students.
• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.

• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
